Local Amenities & Shopping: All of the shops that you really need can be found in and around down town Canmore. There is a Safeway supermarket for all your groceries and Avalanche Movie Co. for you to take Ml advantage of the cinema room. If you need to hire any sporting equipment we would strongly recommend Gear up, our local favorite.

WILDLIFE

We couldn't leave without mentioning the stunning local wildlife. If you are out for a drive (especially along the Bow Valley Parkway you should always be on the lookout for your chance to see deer, elk wolves or even maybe a bear.

ACTIVITIES

Be aware that though these activities can be enjoyed for most of the season, there are always different annual events and festivals going on in and around Canmore, so keep your eye out. The biggest has to be the Calgary Stampede - a must see if you are here at the right time of year (early July).  We have broken our activities down by:
